12 November Classical Reception Studies Graduate Workshop at the Open University Milton Keynes.
The morning session will be a roundtable discussion on 'Getting your doctorate and beyond' led by:
Lorna Hardwick (OU) on publishing in the field of reception studies
Trevor Fear (OU) on publishing in New Voices in Classical Reception
Catherine Harloe (Reading) Teaching Reception Studies
In the afternoon session three panels will present papers on 'Performance Reception', 'Cinematic receptions of the ancient world' and 'Roman Receptions'.

October 13-16 Agamemnon by Aeschylus
Cambridge Greek Play 2010
: The fortieth triennial Cambridge Greek Play will be staged this autumn at the Cambridge Arts Theatre. Directed by Helen Eastman and with an original score by Alex Silverman, this is a rare opportunity to see Aeschylus' Agamemnon fully staged in the original Greek.
