The role of the Student Academic Link (S A L) is to provide students within their region with a point of contact for academic-based issues. They work closely with not only the regional forum but also student representatives on University central committees.
Our Student Academic Links cover each faculty and school and both collect and disseminate information on students' concerns about the academic content or requirements of their study.
If you have any academic-based concerns or issues with your studies, you can be put in touch with the S A Ls team by contacting the OUSA Office on 01908 652026. Please give details of your region and faculty (or if in doubt tell us your general location and your course of study) and we'll put you in touch with an appropriate member of the team.

Do you enjoy discussing academic issues relating to the courses you are studying? If so, have you ever considered putting yourself forward to volunteer as a Student Academic Link? We have a number of vacancies for links throughout the regions. The links are appointed by the regional forums and you will need to contact yours to arrange to attend a local meeting, where you will have the opportunity to discuss how you think you would be a good Academic Link.
