OUSA Futures

"I am not going to lead this Association as if I am just caretaking it through a difficult spot in its history. I’m going to lead this organisation to a future where it is stronger, where it is more relevant to the thousands of students it represents and where it is more confident that it sits full square in the 21st Century rather than being afraid of leaving the 20th Century." Lisa Carson, Immediate Past President, June 2007.

Below is information about the project and consultation leading up to Conference 2008 and at Conference itself. Since then the Executive Committee and staff have been beavering away behind the scenes to produce some big themes and big ideas developed from all the discussions so far. The plan is to undertake a further round of more focussed consultation with members already showing an interest in the project, alongside a large scale survey of a cross section of students and some in depth interviews with key figures in the University. This phase of the project will be rolled out in December 2008 and early in the new year we intend to give a timetable of activities leading up to Conference 2009.

The Graffiti Walls

The graffiti wall postcard comments are listed according to individual categories. Each category may have more than one wall associated with it. If you use a screenreader, or have difficulty reading words on images, there are Word transcripts that might be easier for you.
