Getting yourself ready

If you have never used a computer before, take some time to become familiar with using one before your module starts.

To study successfully with the OU it is assumed that you are able to understand the basic terms and descriptions used in computing so that you can follow instructions about how to use your computer to study and communicate - see previous Computing Guide Glossary or new Computing Guide Glossary, depending on whether your module uses the new or previous type of OU website. Both require login details.
